Adjust Resync Speed Limits

Resync speed is a global setting that will affect the speed limit of the following: data scrubbing, repairing storage pools, expanding storage pools, and changing the RAID type of storage pools.

To adjust Resync speed:

1. Open Storage Manager.
2. Go to Storage Pool > Configurations.
3. Select one of the following speed limit options:
• Lower the impact on overall system performance (recommended): Select this option to avoid the performance drop due to Resync
• Run RAID resync faster
• Customize
  • Max: The maximum speed when the system is idle
  • Min: The maximum speed when there are I/Os in the system
    Note: Actual speed may vary depending on models and disks.
• Click OK.
