MyDS Center
At Main Menu > MyDS Center, you can easily access and manage the MyDS services and information associated with your Synology NAS and packages. At MyDS Service, you will be directed to the DDNS or QuickConnect setup page if you have not enabled them. If the DDNS or QuickConnect service has been enabled, you can view their status here. At Purchase History, you can browse or search the purchase activities of your Synology NAS devices and packages. At Account, you can view and edit your MyDS account information. At Subscriptions, you can select one or more categories of information to receive from Synology and personalize the subscribed content. At Logout, you can terminate all the MyDS services associated with your Synology NAS.
To log in to your MyDS account
- Go to Main Menu > MyDS Center.
- On the Log in to your MyDS account pop-up, enter the email address and password that you have used for registering a MyDS account.
- If you do not have a MyDS account, click Need a MyDS account? for registration.
- If you forget your password, click Forgot your password? for a new password issued by the system via email.
- Click Login to access the services of your MyDS account.
To set up easy access to your Synology NAS at MyDS Center:
- Click MyDS Service on the left panel.
- Enable either connection service:
- To enable Synology DDNS service, click Set up a Synology DDNS hostname.
- To enable QuickConnect service, click Create your QuickConnect ID.
- Register either service by entering the required information.
To view Purchase History of your Synology NAS:
- Click Purchase History on the left panel.
- Choose either way to find the purchase history of your Synology NAS or packages.
- To do so via keywords, select Search by keyword.
- Enter the keyword and select the appropriate filter.
- To do so via the purchase date, select Search by date.
- Click the calendar icons to specify a time period when you have purchased your Synology NAS
or packages.
- Click Search.
- The related purchase information (e.g., the purchase date and price) that meets the specified condition will be displayed.
To view and edit MyDS account:
- Click Account on the left panel to view your account information.
- Click the field to change the account information.
- To secure the settings, click Apply. To return to the previous settings, click Reset.
To subscribe for Synology information:
- Click Subscriptions on the left panel.
- In Subscription Settings, check one or more categories of information that you want to receive from Synology.
- You can fine-tune the subscription settings in the drop-down lists:
- Below New product & feature releases, you can choose the subscription language.
- Below First-hand information on local promotional events, you can select a country to know its local events held by Synology.
- Below Important updates for DSM, you can select one or more DSM versions for the corresponding updates.
- To secure the settings, click Apply. To return to the previous settings, click Reset.
To log out of MyDS Center
- Click the Logout button in the lower left corner.
- Upon logout, all the MyDS services (e.g., DDNS and QuickConnect) and packages associated with the login account will not be available to your Synology NAS.
Note:
- Once you change the email address, a confirmation message will be sent to the new address to verify the change.
- Upon logout, the packages will remain installed in your Synology NAS, but their licenses will expire.
